With your BS&L debit card, shopping and banking are both convenient and secure. Your card works as an ATM card and as a debit card. That means you can perform savings, checking or money market account transactions at any ATM, and use your card to make purchases wherever Discover® is accepted .
Lost or Stolen Card
As soon as you notice you are missing your Debit Card, report it so that we can close the account, prevent fraudulent usage and issue you a new card.
Beginning June 8th, when our system detects potential fraud on your debit card, you will receive an automatic email notification with the option to reply with "fraud" or "no fraud through the hyperlinks within the email.
· One minute after the email, you will receive a text alert from 32874 between 7am and 9pm EST, which also has the "fraud" or "no fraud" option.
· If there is no response received from you, five minutes after the text alert, you will receive automatic phone calls between 8am and 9pm EST, asking you to confirm or deny fraud.
· If we can’t reach you, it is likely your card will be blocked in order to prevent the potential for further fraud, so please respond to your text or email as soon as you can.
Remember - our messages will never ask for your PIN or account number.
This system works best when we have your up-to-date email address, textable cell phone number and preferred voice phone number. Please, get in touch with us to verify that we have your most current and preferred contact information!
The phone number for our Fraud Center has changed to 1-800-417-4592. Add this number to your phone contacts and label it "Bank Fraud Center”, that way, you’ll know to take the call.
